A successful season for our swimmers depends on the volunteer efforts of our families. All families are required to volunteer for 4 swim meet shifts (a shift is half of a meet). A variety of jobs is available for novice swim team parents to veterans.
Volunteer Sign-Up is handled in by our teams TSA Meet Manager System, the same system you used to register for swim team. (We no longer use Sign-Up Genius.) This system is only available to registered SHRC swim team families. For security reasons, we will not be providing a link to the system from our public website. Please refer to previous emails for how to access the system.
The TSA Meet Manager System
- Allows users to sign up or make changes anytime.
- Provides automated reminders asking you to CONFIRM your volunteer job.
- Automates our volunteer reporting process.
A few things to note:
- Automated reminders, asking you to confirm your job, are sent to both the Primary and Secondary email addresses.
- We do not have the capability to note which of your family members is volunteering.
- Sign up is first come, first serve.
- Volunteers are still required to check-in with the Volunteer Coordinator at meets.
- We request that you do NOT wait until the day before or day of the meet to sign up. This creates an unnecessary burden on our Volunteer Coordinator.
- Please limit last minute changes.
Remember, for each shift that a member of your family volunteers, you will receive one entry in our volunteer raffle. The more times you volunteer, the more chances you have to win! Our prize is free swim team registration for your family the following year. The raffle will be held at the awards banquet at the conclusion of the season. You do not need to be present to win.
