Requesting Membership
Scottish Hills Recreational Club, Inc. (SHRC) is a privately owned club with 420 family memberships.
Membership is open to anyone and not limited to residences of the
Scottish Hills neighborhood. Our facility is located at 1423 Tarbert
Drive, just off SW Cary Parkway in Cary, NC. At this time, membership in
SHRC is offered only as resignations occur. We are currently maintaining a waiting list for
those wishing to join.
Information regarding Scottish Hills membership can be found in our
Membership FAQ handout.
An
SHRC Membership Application form
can be printed and mailed to Scottish Hills
with a check for the application fee.
(The forms are in standard PDF format. If you don't already have
Adobe Acrobat, you can download it (free) at
http://www.adobe.com.)
Questions regarding membership at Scottish Hills can be addressed by
contacting the SHRC Membership Coordinator at
membership@scottishhills.org
or stopping by the pool during the summer to talk with the pool manager or one
of the assistant managers.

Current SHRC Members
Current SHRC Members are asked to help us keep their family information up-to-date.
When you have life changes, such as address change or additions
or separations to the family, and even
little changes, such as phone number change, please let the Membership
Coordinator know by
email or dropping off a
Membership Update Form to the
pool or mailing it to the P.O. Box address. Changes to your email
address should be sent to the
Communications
Coordinator
or the Membership
Coordinator.
Please remember that your membership applies only to the people
living in your house that we have on record. Family members (adult
children, adult siblings, grandchildren) living in a separate household
are not covered under your membership. They may visit the pool
with you as your guest.
Scottish Hills is very fortunate to have a large number of its
families maintain membership with the club for many years.
Unfortunately, there comes a time for all of us when the kids have grown
up, we move away from the area, or something else happens in our lives
that causes us to need to resign from the club. There are two (2) ways
to resign:
- Notify the Membership Coordinator in writing, by
email or postal mail,
of your decision to resign.
- Contact the Membership Coordinator to transfer your membership with the sale of your home.
No private sale of your membership is allowed or recognized by
Scottish Hills.
Please contact the
Treasurer
with questions regarding your membership dues.
